Other ceremonies

There are many other important life events for which I can help create a unique and special ceremony.

Funeral ceremonies

It's never nice to say goodbye, but I can assist in preparing a personal, heartfelt ceremony that celebrates the life, honours the memory, and truly reflects the person it commemorates.

Commitment ceremonies

These are a celebration of the bond of love between two people, who decide not to undertake a legal ceremony at that point.

As long as it is made clear to those present that it is not a legal wedding ceremony, we can include vows, readings, the story of your relationship, exchange of rings - a special event that reflects who you are as a couple!

Naming ceremonies

Naming ceremonies are appropriate for anyone, at any age. The arrival of a new baby, uniting of step or adopted children within a family, or an adult name change are all great reasons to hold a naming ceremony.

Pet naming ceremonies are also quite popular!

Renewal of vows

Also called re-affirmation of vows, this ceremony is for couples that wish to renew their marriage vows in a memorable way.

There are many reasons why people choose to renew their vows:

they have reached a special milestone anniversary
their original ceremony may not have been all they had hoped it would be
they want to acknowledge some tough times they have experienced
It may also simply be to recognise that the love shared by the couple is just as strong if not stronger than the day they married, which is always worth celebrating!

Limited only by your imagination! People can and do acknowledge many different important events in their lives, including:

House warming/blessing
A new pet
Milestone birthday

Retirement and many more!
